Pearls of Wisdom: A Purposeful Pause

At this moment in time, how many of us have appreciated those quiet, reflective moments with God? A place of stillness where the disruptions have lessened, and it’s just you and Him?

Each day, I am continually amazed at Our God! When I think of how much He loves us, I get filled with joy unspeakable! What’s more amazing is during what I call a spiritual shut-in, how we have discovered God, not in all the distractions of our lives, which rob us of so much of our attention. But intentionally taking time to be quiet, and experience the stillness for a few minutes to recognize the Master is right there beside us. This break in our day-to-day schedules has intensified our relationship with God – not to ask why but to say thank you. Thank you that He’s creating something new and beautiful!

Can you feel that He is forming us into who, what, and why He purposed us! My God! Acceptance of this truth minimizes the need for us to get mentally or emotionally stuck in this season. Instead, we are empowered by the awareness that God is controlling, and He is working on our behalf even if we can’t see it. We walk by faith and not by sight.

I encourage you to be mind-FULL that when the adversary tries to tamper with your mindset, that you open your spiritual 2020 eyes and remember who is living within you. Yes, no matter what it looks like or feels like, we are being set up for God’s purpose for His will for our lives. Now put a praise on it!!!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” - Jeremiah 29:11

When your life feels as if it is falling apart, remember, It is just falling into place.
